Dear "Youth has the Midas Touch" project participants,

I would like to introduce you our "New Year" video which was recorded during our New Year Zoom Meeting with the participation of our Turkish and Romanian students. This meeting was recorded by Yiğit from Hacı Ömer Tarman Anatolian High School and turned into a new year video by Sude from Hacı Ömer Tarman Anatolian High School. We thank Yiğit, Sude and all participants of this video and wish you all a healthy, happy and successful 2021.

WELCOME 2020

 

OYA ZEYNEP YILDIRIM

We welcomed you with excitement, joy and, most importantly, brand new hopes, just like every new year. There were things we wanted to do in the previous year, what we could not do, whether we wanted it to happen or not. You were our hope 2020!

But you had other plans, we didn't know! We were surprised at what we went through when we say fire, earthquake and flood; Besides, we would be ashamed to wish even small things for ourselves. Covid-19 was your golden hit. We still can't straighten our waist. What we lost is not just our people; you got friends meetings, hugs. Distance communication, distance education…. You got our closeness. We can't even dream now, you took the hopes of those left behind.

It's been a long, long and sad 12 months. A new year is coming again, now we pin our hopes on it. So go ahead, let's over 2020!

EUROPEAN POINT OF VIEW

Special days are precious times that all people living in all countries of the world that they will remember their loved ones. In addition, every individual who lives with a sense of empathy respects, values ​​and remembers festivals,  celebrations and commemoration ceremonies, which are a part of the cultural heritage valued in all societies. This week is Christmas for our Christian friends, New Year's week for our Muslim friends, and the end of 2020 is the beginning of 2021 for all the people of the world. Let's add some nice cards under this post with our good wishes and let the world touch a little LOVE AND TOLERANCE.
