Project awards

The project "Youth has the Midas touch“" shared 1 to 3 places with two other Estonian schools, gaining the maximum number of points.

The award ceremony took place in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn, in the Maarjamäe castle park on June 16, 2021.

Project evaluators notes:

Example of an exemplary project - all the conditions for a good project are met. The use of the forum and the work in international groups are especially excellent. Estonia has been actively involved in every activity.

The project shows that the topic speaks to young people. Extensive attention has been paid to e-security and copyright. It is great that the methodology used is described in the project plan. The so-called thank you page has been handled very carefully.

Many thanks to Zehra Canbolat for initiating a wonderful project, teaching us how to work, mentoring, and guiding all of us! Thanks to all the project participants! This is our joint merit!

The farewell event of the project

The farewell event of the project took place on June 1, 2021.

Teachers congratulated students on International Children's Day, followed by motivational speeches from former students working in large companies around the world and teachers invited from other educational institutions. The students of our project expressed their opinions and expressed their gratitude to the participants of the meeting and the teachers-leaders of the project.

The meeting was attended by over 50 people.

Thanks to Alexandra Anicolaesei  for the good idea and the instant preparation of the meeting.

The project « Youth has the Midas touch” became a significant event in our life, taught us a lot, and expanded the horizons of our knowledge, skills, and abilities. Many thanks to everyone and especially to the project manager Zehra Сanbolat!

Dear All! 

We had a very great job, put all our efforts and prepared a very unique Declaration of Our Midas' Students.

Youth, the blessing of the Earth, is our hope for the future. They are the light-filled youth with Midas' Golden Touch who will keep the world alive. They want to live in a world which is full of love, peaceful, green, fertile, fair, and equal. They are young, smart, and genius. They have the power of touching the world and make everything golden. Please, heed their calls because we owe them a lot.

This is the way we prepare the dissemination of the project's activities and common products in our school,LPS Bistrita, - collaborative work and....a big smille on our faces!!!

Teachers Meeting 20-05-2021

On May 20, 2021, the final meeting of the teachers of the project took place.

The meeting discussed the activities of the project and checked the pages in the e-Twinning Space. The teachers received recommendations for correcting the information on the pages. It was decided to add a Discipline page where teachers should describe how project activities affect the curriculum in schools. The next task is to disseminate information about the project in social networks, the media and schools (creating e-Twinning boards).

Perhaps there will be another meeting for consultation on the project description for the Quality Label.

A feedback form has been created for students, which they should fill out as soon as possible.

The Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day (Atatürk'ü Anma, Gençlik ve Spor Bayramı), is a Turkish national holiday celebrated on May 19 to commemorate Mustafa Kemal's landing at Samsun on May 19, 1919, which is regarded as the beginning of the Turkish War of Independence. This year is the 102 nd anniversary of this important day.

"I'm not weird, I'm different", just like us, people with autism and not only, are people and starting from this principle we, the students of the CTCF Unirea Pașcani, we thought, even in pandemic conditions to show those with „blue blood” our compassion for them through small gestures we want to show them that whatever happens they are special to us and we will always be with them.

Online meeting of students and teachers on April 29, 2021

 On April 29, an online meeting of students and teachers took place, where was discussed the latest joint work on the creation of the final product of the project "Midas Students` Declaration”.

The declaration will be created in the Genially program and 2 weeks are provided for this work. The work will take place under the guidance of coordinating teachers together with the students of the project on the main topics of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
